Stake Your Reputation Protocol (SYRP) — For a P2P Economy

The ‘Stake Your Reputation Protocol’, or SYRP, is a ‘social-validation’ protocol for processing peer-to-peer transactions, and persisting the state of those transactions across a network of loosely trusted nodes (members). SYRP provides a different perspective on the way to build and ensure some shared consensus about the order of, say a set of transactions. It is based on the premise that our networks of trust, reputation and reciprocity are critical to any functioning society, community, or business.

SYRP combines the concept of social capital as defined by Putnam (2000) and extended by Ostrom (2000), where social capital is typically defined in terms of the social networks people use to access social and economic resources. In a way it can be thought of as the amount of trust, reputation and position one holds in their private and professional world, which a person can use to their advantage, such as accessing new employment opportunities, or financing for a new business.

GPPP (Get People’s Permission Protocol)

The Get Peoples Permission Protocol is based on the non-negotiable principle that “Your Data is Your Data”.  GPPP is our opt-in, easy and Zen-Sui based data collection and sharing protocol.  A large majority of people worldwide block ads, use a browser that block ads.  The majority do not watch intrusive advertisements or any advertisements at all.

During our research we have concluded that the most effective advertisement strategy has to be permissioned based. Therefore, our users will never be interrupted by video ads.

We have also determined that advertisers do not win by having people not actually viewing or listening to their ads.  The GPPP is a win-win-win.  Our users will have the option to view and offer a constructive KESP based comment on an ad, and If they decide to do so they are rewarded.  Advertisers will know for sure that an ad was watched, and if they receive a constructive comment, they also win through gathering genuine feedback, and having permission-based access to truly useful data.

KESP (Kindness Empathy Support and Participation Protocol).

Kindness scales

It scales better than competitiveness, frustration, pettiness, regret, revenge, merit (whatever that means) or apathy.

Kindness ratchets up. It leads to more kindness. It can create trust and openness and truth and enthusiasm and patience and possibility.

Kindness, in one word, is a business model, an approach to strangers and a platform for growth.

It might take more effort than you were hoping it would, but it's worth it.

- Seth Godin

“In the Internet, value is on top of the protocol in the application layer. But with blockchain, the protocol is more valuable than applications. Bitcoin is currently $15-20B, Ethereum $1B. Protocols could be worth trillions of dollars.
